For help with Shelfsprig, email [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]).

Include your Android version, device model, app version, and a short description of the problem. Avoid including private notes, financial details, attachments, or child information in an initial message. This app does not send a support message automatically or grant support access to local app data.

Quick guide

Enter a title/note and choose the 30-second expiry to demonstrate removal while active. To test import/export, select a file no larger than 1 MiB through the system picker. Entry expiry leaves original/exported copies intact.

Current limitations

Keep something briefly with Shelfsprig.

Save a note or import a small file through Android's system document picker. Add a title or caption and choose an expiry of 30 seconds, 5 minutes, 1 hour, or 24 hours. Supported attachments include images, documents, and media within the demo's capacity.

Expand a saved entry to read its note, preview supported image formats, export a copy, copy its note to the clipboard, or delete it immediately.

The demo saves up to 30 entries with 1 MiB total note and attachment content. Entries are stored in app-local preferences and are not encrypted by the app. It is not a secure vault or a large-file storage service.

Expiry is checked while the app is open and when it is reopened. The app does not guarantee deletion at the expiry instant while closed, secure erasure, or deletion from system backups. Original files, imported cache copies, clipboard contents, and exported copies are not removed by entry expiry.

No account, ads, in-app purchases, or app-operated cloud sync are implemented in this version. Light and dark themes follow your device settings.

Saved data and deletion

Saved entries are removed by app code when their expiry is observed while the app is active, on resume, or on reopening, or when you choose Delete now. The app is not an OS background deletion service. Entry deletion is not secure erasure. Original files, exported copies, app-cache import copies, clipboard contents, and OS backups are separate and can remain. Android Clear storage removes app-local data/cache; you must remove copies you exported and manage device backups separately.

You can clear app-local data using Android Settings > Apps > Shelfsprig > Storage > Clear storage (wording varies by device). Uninstalling removes data from that installation. System/provider backups and user-created external copies must be managed separately.

Current local R2 increment — 20 October 2026

Open Retention and share intake in the current app to use SH-W05 plus SH-X001/SH-X005 prerequisites. The local custody increment adds encrypted retention preferences and purpose/checklist state, prospective per-item retention revisions/dry runs, finite-deadline inbox/review choices, capped task pins and confirmed event-shortening records. Existing item cutoffs remain authoritative; preset changes never silently extend old copies, expired content is not revived, and an ignored event/review cannot extend a fixed maximum. Explicit multi-source intake stages encrypted selected copies and commits the reviewed valid set atomically; unreadable sources can be skipped only after review. Original provider files remain independent. Native share intake is bounded and an advisory generic expiry reminder asks notification permission only from Enable. Its content contains no filename, note, source URI or secret; notification denial/delay never changes access enforcement. Physical-device, decoder, key and share/notification qualification remain open.

For recovery, keep the active editor, use the feature retry/cancel controls where offered and export a private copy before changing versions or clearing data. Send only app/device/version and a short issue description to [email protected]; do not attach private records automatically. This prepared source update is not a published website or a Google Play Console update.

Account and data deletion

To delete your Shelfsprig cloud account in the app, open Account & cloud, sign in again if requested, then choose Delete app account and confirm. This revokes this app's cloud access and queues removal of its synchronized records, owned workspaces, uploaded files and reminders. It does not clear local app data or cancel a Google Play subscription.

You can also request deletion without installing the app by emailing [email protected] with the subject "Shelfsprig account deletion". State the app name and the email used for its optional sign-in. We may verify account ownership before acting. Do not send a password, verification code, private file or financial record. Tell us if you also want removal of the shared sign-in profile; other Servenzo app accounts have separate data.

To remove an individual uploaded file while keeping your account, open Account & cloud, select Files, then use Delete cloud file. You may also email [email protected] with the app name and the type of data you want removed; state that you want to keep your account. Do not attach the private content to the initial request.

Minimal pseudonymous deletion and revocation records can remain to prevent deleted accounts from being recreated by old tokens. Independent exports, Google Play records and external copies have separate controls. API access logs rotate daily with fourteen retained rotations; internal-test backups are not configured. See the app Privacy Policy for the current hosting and retention details.
